Intel Skylake this Fall!

If you are currently thinking of buying a new PC, we recommend that you wait a little bit. Intel announced new generation of processors that will be based on the advanced 14 nm technology, offered for sale between September and November this year. The new Intel Skylake processors will be available for desktop and laptops, compared to predecessors they will be expected to offer higher performance at lower power consumption.

Intel will together with the new processors offered new DDR4 RAM, which will be likely produced either in 32 nm or 36 nm technology. In addition to the greater capacity they will also reduce power consumption, which will certainly appreciate users of portable computers. In addition, Intel has prepared a chipset 100 family that will be compatible with the new processors, motherboard manufacturers should have received them during the month of August.

To buyers will be available four different Intel processor families, namely Skylake-U for desktop, Skylake-Y for hybrid laptop and tablet, Skylake-H for laptop and Skylake-H for more powerful desktop computers and servers. More on newcomers should be known later in the second half of this summer.
