The biggest novelty for mobile operating system Windows Phone 8.1 was undoubtedly digital assistant Cortana, as it replaces mobile version of the Bing search engine and allows users to control mobile phone simply by using voice and text commands. Among the prominent possibilities of the digital assistant Cortana we find even the possibility of communication regardless of location, automatically add reminders simply by analyzing the contents of the received e-mail and integration with data from other web services. Therefore it's not surprising that it's increasing of interest by the users of tablet PCs and iOS and Android smart phone users.
They will be able to use it already in June, because Microsoft will prepare for them special version of digital assistant Cortana. Although the computer giant has not yet revealed details, many experts argue that innovation is relatively similar to what we can find on Windows Phone. There will of course be present limitations due to the diversity of mobile operating systems. Users of smart phones and tablets Android and iOS the Cortana assistant will not be able to turn off the mobile device or activate the device using a voice command "Hey, Cortana."
